Kevin Rose

Principal

Kevin Rose began his accounting career in 1989 after receiving his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting from Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, Tennessee. He has worked with public accounting firms, as a CFO and as an independent consultant prior to rejoining the public accounting ranks with Strothman and Company in 2023.

Kevin’s previous public accounting experience includes being a partner with Crowe where he worked with clients of all sizes and a variety of industries including construction, manufacturing, hospitality, real estate and the service industry. He also worked with several national private equity groups on mergers and acquisitions projects.

Prior to moving to Louisville in 2004 with his wife, Cindy, and their two sons, Kevin lived in Knoxville and worked with a regional accounting firm called Kruse & Associates.

Kevin’s experience as a CFO gives him the unique perspective of being the client. That is a perspective he brings to his clients as their consultant and advisor in a CPA firm. Good and timely counsel can be invaluable and customer service is always a top priority.

When not working Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife and their grandsons. He is a whiskey writer and podcaster and a strong supporter of local music. Kevin also serves in his church running sound for services and leading a life group for young married couples with his wife.
