Joe Guelda

Senior Manager – Tax

Joe Guelda joined Strothman as a tax manager in 2021 and is located in our Middletown office. He is experienced with small to large sized businesses and has helped many clients with their growth and understanding additional complexities especially in the areas of state and local taxes including income, sales, and withholding. He enjoys going beyond tax compliance and educating clients how developing a well-structured tax strategy is an important part of achieving their overall financial goals.

He has been in public accounting for over 12 years and has developed experience in commercial real estate commercial including restaurants, retail, and industrial, residential real estate including single family, multi family, and apartment complexes, retail, farming, manufacturing, and professional services including attorneys, consultants, financial advisors, and realtors.

Joe is continuously looking for ways to utilize his strengths to make a difference and has served the community through leadership roles with Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, KYCPA Emerging Leaders Committee, Louisville Lemonade Day, and is currently involved in Young Catholic Professionals.  In addition, he is the Education Chair for his Referrals group and is passionate about introducing and developing those new to public accounting.

Outside of the time he spends as a manager and on various community organizations, he is a loving husband and father and enjoys nature, water activities, gardening, and reading.
