Charlie Ward has over four decades of experience working with business owners on their tax planning and returns, helping them minimize their tax liability and maximize their profitability. He has been with Strothman and Compay since January 2021.
Charlie has provided support for families planning their estates and trusts to conserve wealth for the next generations. Since his clients do not have a CFO or Controller on staff, he is always available to answer any question that may arise in the areas of tax and accounting. Prior to becoming a CPA, Charlie worked in financial management of companies in the retail and entertainment industries.
During his tenure as a CPA, Charlie was also an adjunct professor for 10 years teaching accounting and finance at the undergraduate and graduate levels. He has served as president of his local Rotary Club and as a board member of a local federal credit union.
Charlie enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, traveling and watching college sports.
