Tax Operations Manager

Ami Cain joined Strothman and Company in July 2015 and is currently the Tax Operations Manager. Since starting her journey with Strothman as the Director of Lasting Impressions, she has taken on a variety of new projects and responsibilities. Her current role involves overseeing the tax return process, client and project setup and maintenance, client portal management, electronic filing responsibilities, monitoring due dates, and tax return preparation.

Ami has also been involved in the strategic planning for the Tax group and routinely offers suggestions for process improvements and ideas for how the team can meet long term goals. Named one of the Emerging Leaders during the 2019 CCH User Connections Conference, Ami consistently looks for ways to help the Tax team and Firm become more efficient in serving their clients.

Ami is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in General Studies with minors in Business Administration and Lean Six Sigma from Indiana State University. She has an Associate’s degree in Baking and Pastry Arts from Sullivan University, with experience as a pastry chef and assistant bakery manager. In her free time, she enjoys being with her family, attending concerts and festivals, spending time outdoors, and baking.
