Melissa Fraser, CPA
Partner, Chief Operating and Financial Officer

Melissa joined Strothman & Company in August, 2006 as Chief Operating Officer. In July of 2008, she joined the partner group and continues to facilitate the firm's strategic plan through management of Finance, Business Development, Internal Technology, Administration and Human Resources. In addition to the operational management of the firm, Melissa provides financial personnel recruiting services and strategic planning facilitation services for our clients.

Her 20 years of professional experience began in the Assurance group of Coopers & Lybrand, Chicago, Illinois. Melissa’s diverse background includes financial and operational management in non-profit, ministry, mission based radio and television broadcasting, software, entertainment, distribution and education industries.  Additional experience includes strategic planning meeting facilitation, business plan development, cash flow and financial projection modeling, debt financing, turn-around consulting, financial executive recruiting, outsourced CFO services, and financial and accounting consulting. 

Melissa is an entrepreneur with ownership experience in the restaurant/entertainment industry. She is from Floyds Knobs, Indiana, and is an IU, Bloomington Graduate.

Melissa and her husband, Jim, reside in Fern Creek. She and Jim spend their free time at their cabin on the lake, traveling, fishing, watching the Jets play football, and enjoying their family of four children.
